I am proud to announce that I will be exhibiting at the third Flux Exhibition to be held at the Old Truman Brewery 2nd-6th November 2016, curated by Lisa Gray.
My new work include a new body of sculptural work in the medium of metal clay, inspired by texture and waves for the third Flux Exhibition. They will be exhibited along side my mixed media paintings with texture and fluidity merging the two mediums. I cannot wait to share my new work with you all at the exhibition.
This is my custom hand-made official makers mark which contains two key elements reflecting my work as a clay artist:
Firstly, my initials I use on all my paintings of LHE from my full name Laura Helen Elliott.
Secondly, the background features a beautiful British Oak tree symbolizing my nationality, my love of all trees and how it reflects strength through both the roots and the branches.
I have a registered hallmark with the Goldsmiths Assay Office, London of my initials: LHE.
